Arrow theme it

I love this site, it always loads really fast,
I reckon you should "theme" it, like boxshots.org does with their "style switcher" >>that''d be really icing on the cake styles!
(but unlike theirs you should have a different url for each style so I can bookmark the black+silver+purple one, lol)
You could even have a styling competition so you wouldn't have to do much of the work (you're prolly busy with the maintainance/upkeep of the whole thing i guess)

IIRC, themes and color changes have been discussed before. The majority likes LQ the way it is, and at one point Jeremy explained that he had no plans for changing the site's appearance. He may change his mind in the future, but I hope not.

Oh, ok, thats cool and I'm not really fussed..
but you have to admit that boxshots is really cool like that,
the absolutely coolest thing about this site is that a good question gets a good answer with really good speed >and thats all that matters at the end of the day right? right"

We have no plans to offer different themes at this time. We have a fairly minor code upgrade coming in the near future, and some additional functionality planned after that. At some point medium term (say 12-24 months) I'd expect a site redesign, but we'll continue to focus on usability, simplicity and performance. Thanks for the feedback.

& no avatars, no gaudy themes, no other undignified crap; in short, nothing that would embarrass me to have seen over my shoulder at a client site.

It's the most professional looking forum I know of, please keep it that way. Thanks.
