The account was banned
The spam payload was removed
The thread was not (yet) locked
The thread was not (yet) removed
I assume that this is because the moderator or moderators who responded did not have the privilege to do all of that.
A single mod should have been able summarily to take care of it all: banning the account and removing not only that thread, but any other posts the spambot may have made.
As different mods are responsible for, and have privileges in, different subforums, I've had to individually report each of this other
spambot's post for deletion. As some mods are more responsive to that than others, some of the spambot's posts are still there, with the spam payload intact. This won't do. The first mod to respond to the spambot should have been able to just remove every one of its posts, period, from every forum on LQ.
