Technical questions in the Introduction forum

Yes there is a sticky thread there explaining why no one should post a technical question in the Intro forum.

Many people do not see/read that.

I get tired by reporting those threads, nearly daily, to be moved to some other forum.

How about having a BIG RED BANNER (like we have in threads older than 6 months) there on the top saying

Post technical questions here

While I agree it can be tedious, reporting those threads is currently the best course of action in this situation. The members posting incorrectly in that forum are new and are unlikely to see a BIG RED BANNER pertaining to this, as previous tests here at LQ have shown.

I don't know what you have tried before,

but sometimes when I try to reply to the old threads, its nearly impossible for me to miss out the following title because of the font color and the font size.

"Please note that this thread has not been replied to in over 6 months. Please ensure your reply is still relevant and timely."

If not eradicate completely, I am sure it will definitely reduce to a great level the number of technical questions in the intro forum.
