2016 is approaching and I have a suggestion for 2015 member choice awards.
IMHO the best distro poll doesn't reflect user opinions about every feature of a distro. Hence, having polls about some customizations made by distro developers is not bad. For instance, since every distro have a system installer, having a poll for the best system installer would be a good idea. Obviously this poll doesn't have to cover all Linux distributions. Most of distributions use their parent distro installer. So having some mainstreams would be enough.
IMHO such this poll and other polls like the best package manager and the best system configuration tool will permit LQ users to put their opinions in a more technical manner and also would be very useful for both Linux users and developers.

Thanks for the feedback. There will be a thread posted in the near future asking for feedback about the 2015 MCA's. Note that system configuration tool is already a category.

Every previous MCA is still available for perusal. As we do every year, we will post the potential categories before the polls are opened and allow time for feedback.

Thanks Jeremy for your instructions. However by system configuration tool I meant some distro specific graphical modular tools for system configurations. Something like openSUSE YAST or Mageia Control Center.
