Exclamation Registering as new user was broken for me in firefox ("reCAPTCHA couldn't connect to server"), had to pop open chrome

Hi, I just registered as a new user,
and of course I tried to do so using firefox,
but I just kept getting an error "couldn't connect to captcha server",
and I finally had to pop open chrome to do the registration.

I just wanted to let you know about this problem,
in case it's a general problem with "reCAPTCHA" in firefox (or at least, some common way firefox is set up on linux),
rather just something utterly idiosyncratic to me
(I have no way of figuring that out).

... I mean, the obvious not-really-that-tinfoily thought that occurs is that google
(I just checked and yup they own reCAPTCHA)
might not care too much if reCAPTCHA has bugs working with firefox,
but... yeah, dunno what practical alternatives there might be.

... Meh, I just

- closed firefox

- removed any `cert9.db` files in `~/.mozilla`
(well, renamed them to `cert9.db.bak` to be exact)

- and reopened firefox

[still broken]

uh, try disconnecting/reconnecting wifi/ethernet?

...

okay works now, I think?

... um, if anyone reads this, recommendation:
maybe add a link to the registration page like:
"notes on possible solutions if reCAPTCHA is having problems loading for you"
eh?
