Profile image upload fails
I tried to upload a photo of my own ugly mug, and each time it failed with a useless vague error message even though it’s well within the limits described, 92 kB is below 97 kB and 200x200 is less than 400x400. I think it was a .png file; is it trying to tell me in a crap way that it only supports jpg even though it doesn’t say that ?
I'd suggested trying a different format, perhaps a *.jpg, just for testing purposes. It's been a while since I uploaded a profile picture, but I think it was a *.jpg.
I've also suggested to the mods that this thread be moved to LQ Suggestions and Feedback as a more appropriate subforum.
