Hello all,

What about something like a place to sell linux preloaded computers new or used to people? This could be a way for LQ to earn money to help this site grow and get some royalties in the process. You could maybe for the people who are interested in selling computers charge a anuall selling LQ membership at maybe X$ per pop annually and this would also help people migrate to linux a little easier. They could buy a system pre configured (newbie or not) get it home set it up and be ready to go. Or you could make some deals with some of the linux distros and have people sell these computers with no OS and have a link to buy this distro or that and that could give money back to the linux community in whole. Or they could simply buy with no Os.

Just an idea!

This has been asked before and I don't think its anything your going to see on LQ for a while if something like this is put in place. Lets just say, LQ is a non-profit organization and using this site to sell stuff between members carries a huge responsibility on a legal standpoint.
