The issue with the homepage has been fixed. The site unavailability was due to a signification DDoS that has since been resolved.

I have now bookmarked the "Zero reply threads" list. When the issue was blocking the main index landing, this link bypassed the problem and allowed me to have access during the DDOS outage. I am keeping that link in my bookmarks against future need.

probably next time it will be different. But anyway, it is a good idea (I think).
I have a bookmark for latest posts. I haven't used the home page for years.
I have not used that home page too (for years). But LQ was inaccessible and I tried that home page. And finally everything went back to normal except that homepage.
It was down at some point, and apparently cloudflare ip changed recently, so I had to flush the dns cache.
Seems fine now, and I didn't have the missing icons problem at all so I think it's probably dns cache which caused the icons to not appear.

That's great to hear for some, but what about for those on tor? I can't even get the homepage using tor. Is there something preventing you from offering an onion version of LQ site?
Another alternative is to have a tor trusted users login plus one puzzle to solve then no more Cloudfare shenanigans afterwards. If your not interested in offering a tor friendly safe site then say so right now instead of literally keeping us hanging on on Cloudfare. Bootlickers spare me the "Jeremy his doing his best". Collecting ray ids for eons is not fun. The site hasn't worked properly under tor since cloudfare which is at least 2-3yrs at guess, which is a decent amount of time to be considered patient wouldn't you say?
I had some issues with the site today. It required me to log-in even though I had not logged out in quite some time. After logging back in it went to 'Error code 502' when I clicked on the second page of results. It seems to be working as expected at the moment.
Just venting: I painstakingly spent an hour composing a new Thread, hit post, Cloudflair intervened to 'check', a blank page resulted, and all was LOST. Nevermind: maybe it was a lousy thread. I should have known better than to ask a question. Now I know.

When I have a post that I've taken some trouble over, I always hit ctrl-A ctrl-C before posting. Then I know I can get it back and resend it if anything goes wrong. But I do sympathise. We've all had these run-ins with Clownflare.
