LinuxQuestions.org Toolbar

I'm happy to announce a new feature here at LQ. We now have available an LQ Toolbar. The toolbar fully supports Firefox on all platforms (there is also an IE version available if you're stuck using that). The toolbar will allow you to directly access many of LQ's sections, search LQ and Google right from the toolbar, get direct access to the LQ RSS feeds, bookmark items at LQ, listen to the LQ Podcast and more. We'd be interested in hearing what additional features you'd like to see in the toolbar. Consider this beta for the moment, but I've been using it with 0 problems for a few days now. Enjoy.

Hi Jeremy,
This toolbar is a great idea. Its good to see that it runs without problems on AMD64 with Iceweasel.

Just one or two suggestions:
1) Can you edit the toolbar.linuxquestions.org page? It would be nice if it had a similar theme to the rest of LQ. This is just a minor, visual issue and not that important.

2) Also on the toolbar download page, can you change the System Requirements to include Linux. Seeing it is the LinuxQuestions toolbar, it would be nice if it said that it works on Linux

Shrikant: Click on the temperature icon, and towards the right hand side it lets you change to degrees C, and also change your location.

Unfortunately that page can't be edited currently, but I am working on it.

I'll see if a version that works in Sea Moneky is possible.
