implement a "dashboard" showing things I care about

Create a "dashboard" display that associates with each LQ login.
This display would present summary information about things that I care about. This suggestion is an enhancement to not a replacement for the existing "My LQ" information. More specifically, this Dashboard would present statistics about the presence and location of threads and postings with keywords or tags of interest to me. A "tag cloud" or similar display based on tags and keywords of my choice.

In addition to display of information of interest, the dashboard would enable me to control aspects of my LQ experience. For example, I might limit my view to specific distributions or applications and even filter for specific versions of distributions or applications. Further, filtering for specific posting authors etc.

[NOTE -- for whatever reason, the button "Click ... to find ... threads" did not operate while creating this post.]

While I applaud the general idea of a dashboard at this point in time I'd rate tag usage at LQ as trivial and arbitrary. There are a lot of users who do not tag at all or do not know how to tag threads properly. As such using tags as filter right now will definitely not lead to dependable results. Prefab google-like search filters like say "distroocketlinux" I would rate a "nice to have". Not something I'd use a lot but it might come in handy sporadically. Filtering by thread OP or post author you have already.

It might be possible to use something like kwic to identify keywords in the original post, compare that list with a list of known keywords and recommend a set of tags, n'c'est pas?
