Yup, I have no problems here and if you look at my post count, I stare at this site a lot..

I personally like it how it is though, I think its easier to read compared to some other sites that use way too many graphics, borders, etc.

We could always go with some future high tech looking border like most other H4x0r type sites with maybe some flourecent green and orange colors..

Yeah, i really dislike the concept of skins for a website.... Sure put skins on Winamp / xmms or whatever, as their just cold hard applications. But LQ is people and discussions and the likes. and if you could just change the css style to "l33t" or "my little pony" or whatever then that would change how the site is represented. I expect the threads could easily change tone by members who, as tk said, want to pretend they're in WarGames.

I was about to start a post on skins, when I realized that it had been discussed before. I was wondering why don't we have a choice of skins over here?

I'm sorry - but that's one post above yours... Did you not read the thread?

AHHH!!!! no no no no....

no skins. I like the way LQ looks, and valuable server "stuff" (memory, hdd space, cpu, whatever) gets saved for better stuff. (Like a spell check in the bookmarks etc hint hint.)

Oh and before you ask - we don't do avatars or images in posts either.

Oh, we should really get some skins over here. And more black colors. Black background and then we should mess things up a little with some red, orange, and yellow colors all over. And a lot of avatars should follow, big ones, with many colors. And then skins on the smileys, really nice smileys.

Forget it, the only good skin is the current one. Focus on the content and not the presentation of it.
