Every search fails, reporting a database error

I've all but given up on LQ's search feature, it's an absolute joke. It fails at least 80% of the time for me, either the error message in the OP, or (and usually) a cloudflare error message saying that the LQ site isn't responding. Just use Google instead... at least that works.

I don't know what the holdup is, but I wish Jeremy would hurry up and upgrade the forum software - even if he does need to take LQ offline while he does it.

LQ search often do not work like Randomtroll says! Why, what is wrong? I have no permission to search?

I think you have the same permissions as everyone that it isn't working for anyone.
