cannot find how to delete a thread/post

i started a post. submitted it. after a minute i needed to edit it. start to edit. while editting i realized the solution to my problem and decided that the post/thread was all-together irrelevent and useless. want to delete it. it's in another browser tab still in edit mode. don't want it anymore...

Please don't delete it. Ask your initial question in your first post, then make a second post with the answer. After you have done that mark the thread as solved using the thread tools at the top of the thread.

This way other people can benefit from your thread if they have the same question.

Just for clarification: Only moderators can delete posts or threads.

Thanks, Anisha.
I myself was surprised when Jeremy asked me if I want to become a moderator and I feel honored to be part of the team.

+1 to that. Very much deserved. Tobi is very diplomatic in his answers and I have benefited from several of his posts.
