Question can't save LQ bookmarks...

in the user cp section. i press submit modifications after entering the data, and it comes back empty ("Showing Bookmarks 0 to 0 of 0"). i've tried using both mozilla 1.3.1 and konqueror. is the bookmark feature only for mods? or am i doing something stoopid? thx

Are you getting the "Your bookmark has been added" redirect? What options are you selecting? Bookmarks are for everyone.

yes, it says the bkmrk has been added, then when reloading the bkmrk page, it says showing bookmark 0 to 0 of 0.

options? if you mean user options, i have "browse the board with cookies" enabled, and cookies are accepted from linuxquestions.org in my browsers. most of the other options don't really seem relevant (unless i'm missing something or missing your question). thx.

I'm actually having the same problem. I've uploaded and manually added bookmarks. The system (control panel) has said I've added them. I've even made them public.

But they do not seem to show. Is there a delay so that a moderator can check them?

There is no approval process for these. I have put looking into this on the TODO. Any and all additional info may help. Thanks.

Update:

i just found out that bookmarks i enter in to test are showing up under the username "jpaulk." user jpaulk has 140 bookmarks listed, though now we know that at least some of those aren't his/hers. and maybe none of them are, i.e., maybe that's where other members' "missing bookmarks" are ending up? anyway, i hope this info can help get the problem with this feature sorted out.

With the recent hardware issue I haven't had a chance to look at this yet.
