I have over 112 threads out here an so was wanting to review them to see which of the old ones I could close. What I found was in the search the following 2 options were not available, which are:
[unsolved].
Order by oldest first
Those 2 options would greatly assist me and sure others, in closing out old threads we made that we either solved or have now have no reason to follow.
Please consider these as enhancements to this site.
Had to go check I had the idea that they have em in order by newest first, yep, would going to last page be of any use to you ?

Not really! To work off all your old open threads you need the option of descending order by date and [unsolved] would knock out any threads already solved so you would just be processing unsolved threads, instead of seeing everything, as it is now!
I'm not sure that this helps, but, for what it's worth, I periodically go to "Subscribed Threads" on the sidebar menu, navigate to the last page, and delete my subscriptions to inactive threads that are more than a couple of months old.
If they become active again, I know they will appear in "Latest Posts."
I just did this:
Search -> Advanced search
Search by username — Select Find threads started by user TBotNik
Find threads with prefix — no prefix
Sort results by — Thread start date in ascending order
Search Now
Got 68 threads started by TBotNik, oldest first, with none marked [SOLVED]

Tried that but even when marking "Decending Order" it still has the results in "Ascending Order". But at least the number "69" is a workable result and all on the same page, so I can still work on them!

Um, it is a standard feature. I didn’t do a workaround. I just set available terms and filters to get what you wanted. It is not the default, and I don’t agree that it should be.

You don’t want descending order. You want to start with the oldest of your threads, then sort in ascending order by thread date. That puts the oldest first, as requested, then the dates get newer/later…they ascend.
