a money making idea

i posted this in the donations thread, but realized it doesnt really go there, although it is atleast tangentially related, but has it been considered to set up a linuxquestions.org store like mousepads, coffee mugs etc?

wow, i thought i had seen it somewhere, but the footer of the page was not where i had thought it would be... As an aside (incase i dont find it on the cafepress website, is it possible to give submissions/designs? and if so does that go through this site, or cafepress?

I'm sure you can email Jeremy (the site owner) about any (LQ-related) designs you might have, cafepress is just the way the products are made and sold.

I'm not a fan of sending unsolicited emails, so i'll give it a few days and see if he happens to drop into this thread and has any comments on it.

We'll always offer the official LQ logo on our cafepress items, but if a member comes up with something that other members really like, we'd certainly consider offering additional items with it for a limited time.

one last question for you, is there any way to get the artwork for LQ, without the linuxquestions.org printed? if not it's fine just gonna be an extra step for me to remove it so i can do what i want.

You'd have to crop the logo if that's what you're looking for.
