Thumbs up Success!!

After a bit of work, I was finally rewarded yesterday by seeing the Quake 3 world through my Linux glasses!!
The only reason I kept WinXp was for the gaming, everything else has been adjusted over to Linux (I'm an ex-windoze user)but now I've finally broken through that final barrier!!
It didn't take too much work actually to get it going, just didn't get much time to really sit down and work with it (kids, wife, and all...)! Works fine, just a bit choppy and I think that's just because I have to get the proper GL drivers (I've got an ATI Radeon 9100 128meg AGP)
What a great feeling of accomplishment to put in the time and actually have it pay off! I would say this is one of the big reasons why people get so into Linux! The thrill of accomplishing something for yourself! Take note Bill!

Long live the Linux community!!

Thumbs up Cool

Congrats

I'm still suffering here trying to make Quake 3 run into my system, but one that I will be there too (hopefully). For now, I'm jealous
