openSUSE 12.3 RSS-GLX Screen Savers and KDE
The good news: there is an official SuSE package for the rss-glx screen savers. Yes, eye-candy indeed, but still...nice.
The package installs nicely, and if you go into your KDE "Configure Desktop"->Display and Monitor-> Screen Locker, you'll see them installed. However, none of them will actually WORK. The binaries are installed in /usr/bin...but they're looked for in /usr/lib64/xscreensaver/.
Simplest fix? Create symbolic links from the files in /usr/bin, to the correct directory. See the attached file. Save it, make it executable, and run it as root, and enjoy.
