Mageia 5.1 Shutdown takes long

Hello.
I hope to be right here.
The forum-de is dead and I hope here on answer.
The shutdown takes 25 seconds. In the forum-de there is a reference to a proxy server that caused. I do not know which is to uninstall.
regards
Wolfgang

It might help to know the specs of your computer and what DE you are using.

I'm using Mageia on another computer. I've made a note to see how long it takes to shut down tomorrow (I don't have access to it right now). Frankly, though, 25 seconds doesn't sound to me to be long enough to be cause for concern.

Hello frankbell.

The specification.
OS Linux 4.4.65-desktop-1-mga5
Processor AMD Fx (tm) -6300 Six Core
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 / PCle / SSE2

It is not a cause for concern, but it is also in 6 seconds. According to a note in the Germen (DE) Forum, the shutdown went faster. The German forum is down and I know the solution no more.
Regards
wolfgang

Sound like nice specs.

I tested my Mageia computer (Zareason Strata with an i3 processor, 8GB RAM, and Intel inside running Mageia's KDE interface); it takes about 25 seconds to power off after I click Leave-->Shut Down-->Turn Off. I doubt that there is anything aberrant about your computer's behavior.
