If you love Slackware...

as your main distribution, then why not take it on the road:

Slackware Live CD

It rocks! Plain and simple!

Wow!

I burned myself a copy of Slackware Live today onto an 185MB Mini-CD. It works great! You get both KDE and fluxbox, not to mention so much more cool stuff.

I would definately recommend this live CD, it is not as full featured as Knoppix, but it works on an 8cm CD!

Yeppers!

Size and familiarity with Slackware is what drove me to use Slackware Live instead of Knoppix. I'm always using the winfast option with it.

I'm glad you guys found a post of mine useful and interesting. Thanks guys.

Schweeeet.

Kinda funny how the icons on the site look like Mandrake's default Icons in KDE

Yeah, they could put a picture of a wet noodle up though, and it'd still be my newest favorite live cd I think they built this with me in mind, in fact, I'm betting that's where those 'hidden' cameras came from...

Slack Live rocks!

I've only used it intermittently though, nothing majorly in depth, anyone know if an HD install comes with this thing, or are batteries not included?

Cool

Thanks for the link. As an Information Security Analyst, I can definitely put this to good use. We've been using Knoppix but I've always been a Slack fan.

Thanks!
