Cool Since I follow directions

so well, I'll follow that one at the top of the page suggesting I post here.
I bought a Red Hat book a year ago, hoping that one day I'd have time to sit down and play with it.
Fast forward a year, and I got time to install on an old computer, but not a lot of time to explore, then voila! Windows goes belly-up on my regular machine. Kinda got me inspired, and next thing I know, I've got the two side by side, and suddenly I find myself with a dual-boot on my regular machine, using linux. Imagine my surprise!
So far, so good, but I imagine this place'll come in handy as I run across the hundreds of questions I don't even know I need to ask yet!
Wish me luck! ~grinning~

You are definitely in the right place. A couple suggestions: Edit your user profile filling in as much information about your system and distro as possible, and read this ... http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

I haven't had a lot of time to explore yet, but it looks to be, Icechant.
Thanks, rickh! LOL I'll have to figure out what I don't know to ask yet, but once I do, I'll know how!
