I am a 62yo regular joe who decided back in the day to become a web developer and so I did. In this area I use Nginx, PHP and MySQL.
I've been working with Linux since the late 90's, Slackware was my first distro, Ubuntu my current one. During the FidoNet days I ran a BBS in my native Spain operating also as a net coordinator and hub.
For independence sake I now run a dedicated Linux server where I have my websites and email exchange. But this is the first time I have to administer a complete, independent internet system all by myself.
I joined this community after realizing that regardless of what I have learned in my life, I know in actuality not much.
