Hi,
i'm Gerhard Lausser, sysadmin, developer, scripter, whatever at ConSol, an IT service&solution provider located at munich.
My primary job is consulting in the monitoring field with a focus on the Nagios ecosystem. I am the author of a book about Nagios ("Nagios - Das Praxisbuch", in german) and i wrote several plugins like check_logfiles, check_hpasm, check_[oracle,mysql,mssql,db2]_health. Since last year i spent lots of time working on the Shinken project, a 100% Nagios compatible rewrite in Python, which was started by Jean Gabès.
