Well, I installed Red Hat 9.0 last night on one of my computers, and I've gotta say I'm excited as hell to finally give it a shot! I've been a dyed-in-the-wool Windows user for years, and I've been both happy with it's general ease of use, and frustrated by its occasional cases of 'operational dysentary', when I'd be forced to dump everything and start over. Until now, I've only had the one computer with all it's goodies on it, so I was nervous about using a new OS on my 'one and only', even though I've wanted to try Linux for quite some time. Right now I'm just trying to concentrate on learning the basics, but eventual goals include setting up a home network upon which Red Hat and XP can co-exist peacefully (sort of a digital Eden?), and attempting to install a Midori build on a Gateway Connected Touchpad I recently acquired. This is a great forum, thus far.. seems that most everyone here is very helpful. Looking forward to learning much here!!
