New to LinuxQuestions.org

Hi guys,

New to LinuxQuestions.org. My first Linux distribution was Debian 2.2 (potato) which was way before these forums were on the Internet. I've been using Windows since then but decided to come back because my Windows Vista O/S is set to expire this April. My computer now uses Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and it's been an interesting ride returning to Linux.

Thanks all,

exhile

Hello and welcome to the forum, hope you're enjoying Ubuntu despite any possible learning curves.

Thanks for the welcome! Ubuntu is much easier to use than the Linux distributions in the 2000s.

Agree completely. I got my first "taste" of Linux back in 2001 with Red Hat 7.2. Much improved overall since that time.

Regards...
