New to LinuxQuestions
Greetings everyone, I am Matt, a sophomore in college at DeVry University. I have been doing computers almost my whole life, building my first computer at the age of 7. In the summer before my senior year in high school, I decided to try Linux out. At first, I had trouble figuring things out because I was only using live CDs and I was also using a very old, slow computer. Throughout my senior year in high school, I tinkered around with Linux more thoroughly in my IT career tech class and I also installed my first full Linux OS during this time. Now, as I have been going through college, majoring in Network and Communications Management, my fellow classmates have taught me much more in Linux. Actually, we are currently in the process of trying to begin a Linux Users Group at the school as an extracurricular activity. I hope to learn more about Linux through these forums and I hope that I may also be of some help to some of the newer users.
