New member question

Hello,

Thanks for the membership. I'm new to Linux but learning alot.

I just installed Zorin OS 11 on a USB 3.0 flash drive with no problems.

I also installed kodi 16.0 with the Royalist build but it seems to be frozen up. It just says "Royalist" on the screen and nothing else.

I tried to uninstall kodi and just start over but when I boot back into the USB, reinstall kodi, it still opens the Royalist. So I must be missing something?

How can I completely uninstall Kodi from Zorin OS 11?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Well, It started working all of a sudden so I'm not sure what happened but all is good.

Zorin 11 is a great little OS, I like it!

Thanks!

open a terminal and copy paste this in it. sudo apt-get remove kodi or sudo apt-get purge kodi.
There are so many different ubuntu debian branches but they all use apt-get.
make sure you know your password.
