New member intro.

I finally signed up for an account to post some helpful info as a reply to someone that has the same problem I currently do. I love this forum and come here often to find solutions. Thanks very much for the help over the years!

Am I the only one who got kicked off a different site and had to come here?

Welcome to LQ.

Actually, LQ has shown to be the most polite forum I've seen.

It does seem to be the politest forum around. I also post regularly at a place filled with flame wars, trolls, and angry neckbeards, but I'm moving away from it. LQ is MUCH nicer.

Howdy folks
New to Linux. I've used Ubuntu and Puppy some. I find myself gravitating away from Windows more and more and looking for a distro to fill my needs. This looks like a good place to start.
