Question Long winded ramble

I literally registered just to see where it says anything about not answering homework questions, and it didn't say that anywhere. But he's right, it's a simple question and half of the world doesn't know Linux inside out because Windows is so much easier of an OS to use for those who don't understand stuff like this. Why was it so hard to answer that question? To those of you who said "it took you longer to post that then to try it", it took you longer to post your useless response than to just answer the question. Waste of your time, nice job. Fortunately for me, I have a teacher who works with us instead of us having to post on random forums with fail posters, so I was able to find the answer I needed. Just thought I'd point out what an immature thing it was to give that guy grief.

P.S. You don't have cancer, don't need to BS about it. Just keep looking or try installing an OS on an external hard drive, that's what I did. Good luck with your class.

I took the liberty to split your post out of the dead thread - may it
rest in peace - and give you a place in the spot-light of intros.

As for the no rules, your reading skill seem not to be up with your
typing; Have a look at the rules.
If that's too much info, use your browsers find feature to locate
the word "homework" on that page.

Cheers,
Tink
