← #3 .

Text files like file-name.tcl : Attach as file-name.tcl.txt
.. And files.cc, files.h as file.cc.txt, file.h.txt
.
Small packages, *.tar.gz and *tar.bz2 : As *.tar.gz.txt and *tar.bz2.txt
.
Text files can also be compressed, and attached as e.g. file.gz.txt

P.S. : Why ask in the `Intro' ? Please use one of your threads for questions.

You need to click the "Go Advanced" button at the bottom of the compose post window to get to the dialogs that will help you attach a file.

If the file you wish to attach is relevant to a question you want to ask, it is best to start a new thread in the appropriate forum. "Member Introductions" is just for member introductions.
