Just a quick summary to give some background. I switched from Windows to Linux about four years ago, first using Freespire, then switching to Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu (depending upon the machine and user I'm supporting). Prior to that, as weel as since, I played at varying depths with Red Hat, SUSE, gOS, and others, and was a tester for Xandros. At work, I use AIX, but we're switching our servers to Linux there, too. I'm a member of two local LUGs, and I'm working towards my LPIC certification in my "spare time."
