Wink Hi folks - nice to be here at last...

...and pleased to be registered with LQs.

I've been using Linux ever since I first saw the light about 10 or 11 years ago, and to my eternal shame have finally just got around to joining!

It's easier to list what I don't like about Linux / FOSS (i.e. nothing!) than what I do, and I'm hoping to further extend my knowledge here within LQs. I'd love to be able to offer assistance if I can in return, although everyone I come across seems to know more that I do for some reason!!

Have fun

... Why thank you kindly!
Interesting signature by the way - do I take it that I can count on you to defend us all from the tyranny that is closed source proprietary software??

Hello,
I don't and won't speak for all and I'm neither an open source extremist, however I prefer using open source technologies as much as possible.

Regards.

Sounds good to me, nice and balanced! I've just got a chip on my shoulder with the software I am having to use at work at the moment! Anyway nice to meet you, see you around.
