Hello ,

Just made my account today. Been here several times as a guest from google searches.

I've been using linux for a couple years, but still pretty much a noob. I'm currently running Linux Mint, and I also have Arch Linux on anther sdd for when I want a change or run into an issue with outdated versions of programs on Mint or if I just want to mix things up.

Welcome to Linuxquestions.
There's a lot of different choices in Linux, one of the nice things about this site is you can review the problems people encounter and get an idea as to each version (or distros) capabilities, limitations and issues which can help guide your choice to the version that suites you best.

... and that version will be Slackware.
