hey! anyone from washington state?

Hello!
Im Val, and yeah im one of the newbie’s :-D

Just recently I’ve started to play around with Linux, first with fedora, and now with mandrake. It’s a slow work in progress, im 17 and i live in Washington State. Hmm what else can I say? Oh msg me on aim if you want to i guess?! Hyper apostrophe i hope to learn a lot my friend speaks highly of this message board so I can’t wait! heh

I would find a LUG in your area. I don't know where you live but try GLUG or TACLUG they can direct you to a LUG close to where you live. Have fun!

I believe Tacoma has a very strong LUG that you would enjoy. http://www.taclug.org/
