I'm just an old Buckeye trying to learn a few new tricks.
I really want to make Ubuntu my primary OS, but as I go, I realize that I have much more to learn than I realized. The more I learn, the more need to learn, if that makes any sense at all!
I have looked around this forum a bit and it seems like a good place to be.
Thanks for this opportunity to introduce myself!

Maybe tell us a tiny bit about your PC (EFI?) and any Linux experiences/intrests/goals.

"Ubuntu Linux Desktop: Your Visual Blueprint" (a GUI tutorial for me!)
Best wishes! Jump IN and ENJOY! p.s. maybe this [<-click] 'LQhowTo' can be my welcome gift to you

I'd agree with you about Ohio. In fifty years of moving around, I've never really been anything other than a boy from the Ohio hill country. It kinda sticks with you, don't it?
