Hello linuxquestions.org!

Hi I am a linux newbie, I know absolutely nothing about linux. I have used windows for many years and I would love to expand my knowledge of linux. It seems pretty cool to me, as I am typing I have mandrak 10.0 CD1&2 downloaded and I am waiting for CD3. I am going to hopefully dual boot windows xp and mandrake. I might have some hardware issues and whatnot so I thought I might like to come in here and say hi so you guys have a basic idea of where I stand. Expect to see me later on today.

Thanks

-Rob

NoS Sr50, welcome to LQ. You have taken the right step with deciding to go with Mandrake. It is really user friendly... can be a bit nasty at times ... that is why LQ is here
