Hello from Switzerland

I'm a 50 year old physicist from switzerland. I've been using linux since yggdrasil linux with kernel version 0.9 i think, around 1992, and the initial fascination (Unix feeling on my PC!) is still there. Today i use Debian on most of my servers, and Ubuntu on desktops with vmware+windows xp for special hardware requiring windows software. I'm very happy with this combination, because i'm completely free to use all software/hardware i want.
