I just installed Fedora Core 3 (went smoothly), and I wanted to join this forum to get up to speed on my new Linux machine. Thanks in advance for the help that will no doubt come from my visits here!
Thank you. I'm a career Windows systems admin, but I need to ween myself off Windows O/S's. I hope to transition over to a full Linux environment in my home throughout the course of next year. Thusly, I really need to get my head around Linux quickly. Anything that can be passed along to me to ease this process would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, if anyone happens to need help with a Windows machine please ask.
We do allow windows questions in the General (not Linux-General) forum so keep your eye for them
I'm sure there will be plenty of people willing to help if when you have questions but don't forget to check out our linux answer and wiki sections too: http://www.linuxanswers.org http://www.lqwiki.org
