I've been playing with Linux since the early 90's and have a bias to Red Hat, been servicing computers since the mid 90's and a provider of professional data recovery since the late 90's.
I'm joining this forum with two objectives.
1. Gain more Linux knowledge
2. To contribute my knowledge, mostly from the realm of data recovery.
For that question, it would be best to get an answer from Jeremy, the owner of the site. The LQ rules state there is no advertising allowed in the forums, however, there might be advertising opportunities elsewhere...

I suspect that a link in reply to a direct question would be fine. But it can be a fine line to walk, especially if the link is to your own site. I'm certainly not accusing you of that, I've seen nothing like that, just making a comment.
I agree that if someone asks, there are avenues. Especially where (I believe) once a member (25 or 30+ posts) you can use private messages within LQ and then people can contact you using that channel.
