Zero signal

Hi

Just a quick question with a short answer hopefully. I have my belkin F5D7000 card working on my SuSE 9.1 server but it is showing 0 signal and 0 link quality.

How is it possible that it can pick up the fact that there is a router without then being able to use it for network connectivity ? Is it simply the wireless signal is too weak ?

As I sais the card works fine and I can ping the address from the machine itself.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance

Chris

Interference or Weak signal

Sounds like your signal is just weak (i.e out of optimal range for Wireless) or that you have some interference on the channel that it is bound to. Check those out.

NOTE: Microwaves, Cell phones, Cordless phones, anything that creates or can create a wireless signal could be the culprit.

Short enough?
