fsck3r LQ Newbie Registered: Sep 2003 Posts: 5 Rep:	wlan-ng to HostAP I currently have a linksys wp11 pcmcia card that is prism based running under kernel 2.4.26 with the wlan-ng drivers. The thing is that these drivers are a pain in the ass ive tried to use iwconfig tools to configure it but alot of times it doesnt work (wont go into rfmon mode and what not) Ive read that the HostAP drivers shouild work fine with this prism based card and fully supports iwconfig and other nice tools. How hard is it to switch over to HostAP from wlan-ng? Thanks for your help in advance -Mick
