Wireless LAN card 802.11b and Ricoh card bus

Hello Everyone!

I am using Ricoh CardBus with WireLess LAN pcmcia card, I just installed linux but i cannot connect to the internet.

I am using Linux Mandrake 9.2 Distribution.

I am a newbie and i dont know much about linux. Please Help

Abdul,

Do you know what chipset the card uses? If you dont call the company to find out.
I could not find it here http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz
Knowing what is inside will resolve your problem quickly.

Put the card in and post the output of lspci -v

I am using a Farallon Skyline

Confirm that it is using Prism Chipset:
Farallon Skyline

Then either compile the drivers from source or install from RPMs.

Get the source from Linux-Wlan

Please post results.
