WiFi works , but not able to install updates from Update Manager?

Hi,
I recently installed linux Mint 17.2 64bit a day ago,
Usually on Windows , i use to connect my local wifi via proxy.
I went to network settings and added network proxy.
I browsed Firefox for a while and downloaded somw stuffs, which works well.
The only problem, is that I am not able to install updates available via Update Manager.
It justs doesnt download.
Also , cannot download anything from Linux Store.
I need some help here,

Thanks.

*Mind you, im connected via proxy on wifi*

Hi...

Welcome to the forum

I'm not too familiar with proxies as I don't use them but here are some threads I found that I hope might help...

I just resolved the problem by going to Synaptics Package Manager--->Settings-->Preferences-->Network-->(add your proxy) then Apply & Save.
