usb linksys adapter not working
hey
I can not get my linksys wusb11 to work. I think large part of the problem that i have little linux experience.
please help

I f you have WUSB11 ver. 2.5 you can use the linux-wlan-ng driver

idProduct
You can find that info by
lsusb | more
or
lsusb | less
You wil finds something like
idVendor 0x046d Logitech Inc.
idProduct 0xc00c Optical Wheel Mouse
but then for you linksys

If you have a dual boot system with windows check the mac address if it contains
AT76C503A
then
You have a atmel chip set

I tried lusb | more and i came up with

and i do not have a dual boot i have one computer for linux and another for windows

Use that windows system, install the windows drivers on that one and have a look at the mac address

ok i think the mac address is 00-0F-66-13-EF-15 ( that was the physical address when config/all is typed into the command prompt)

I have had a look at the linksys site and they have not change the drivers since v2.6 so I advise You to use the atmel driver
