Simulation in Delay Tolerant Networking

Which Tool best suits simulation of Delay tolerant networks (DTN) and why?
Whether NS2 can be used to simulate DTN? Whether it requires patch file?

Could you expand the question a bit? What network? What topology? Is this an action you take due to networking trouble?
Thanks, and welcome to the forum

DTN, ns2 and ns3 http://www.netlab.tkk.fi/tutkimus/dtn/ns/

DTN, ns-2.35 :
Code:
tar xvf ns-allinone-2.35_gcc482.tar.gz
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing
cd ns-allinone-2.35/
zcat dtn_ns235.patch.gz | patch -p0
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing
./install
cd ns-2.35/
sudo make install
Simulation (See http://www.netlab.tkk.fi/tutkimus/dtn/ns/DTN_ns235.pdf )
./simulate_dtn.sh &
... Wait patiently, the simulation can take a few hours. (8 processors ~40min.)

More simulations : ns2dtn_campaign.tar.gz

Using : http://www.netlab.tkk.fi/tutkimus/dtn/ns/DTN_ns235.pdf

DTN is an opportunistic network characterised by lone delays..! Am working to provide efficient data access.Which one of the following will give better results? Either it is Qualnet or NS2?
