A list I've found useful is Jean Tourrilhes':

I'm not sure exactly what drivers come with Red Hat. But if a card is on this list, it should work with Linux, although you may have a little work to get and build the driver.

Oh sorry, just noticed you want PCI cards. I know of only one - Netgear MA311 which is 802.11b and works with the orinoco-pci driver. You may need a newer version of the driver than the one Red Hat supplied. If anyone knows of others I'd love to hear about them!

at www.alternate.de ( ) i found a card called "MA311GR" and another one called "MA311GE".

can somebody please tell me the difference between those two cards? are they both wlan-ng-driver compatible?

maybe "GE" means something like "german"...

thanks in advance
