pcmcia wireless question

I am pretty new to linux and I just installed fedora core 3 on my laptop. I have a D-Link DWL-G650 wireless pcmcia card and im trying to get it to work with my laptop. I have an IBM A31p. I insert the card and boot the computer but it doesnt detect the card. Any help would be great!

Thanks,

-Dan

Many wireless cards do not have linux binaries and you must use the windows drivers
Very often for wireless cards it is necessary to use something called ndiswrapper which takes the windows binaries and makes it useable for linux. ndiswrapper can be found at sourceforge.
