Orinoco classic gold powersup, connects, but browser cant find webpages!

This problem is driving me insane,

I purchased an orinoco classic gold wireless internet card, I received it yesterday put it into the PCMCIA slot, configured it using YAST in SUSE 9.3 put the WEP key for the network and it worked fantastically great everything went smooth and I connected to the internet without a problem. Plus it was even autodetected by SUSE.

Tonight I went to the wireless hotspot at my university and plugged in my PCMCIA card saw it light up and then I proceeded to click on the web browser and to my surprise the web page would not come up instead I would get a message saying that the web page could not be found etc. I tried typing multiple pages but nothing worked.

when this happened I typed Kinternet on my console and saw that the card would power up and I would even get the flickering data light signaling that it had associated to with the access point, I then proceeded to click on the internet browser but I couldnt get any webpage to come up.

since that didnt work, I ran the program KWIFI MANAGER and it said that I had an excellent signal so then I proceeded to click on firefox and I still could not pull up a webpage.

I would like to know what to do, my card powers up, I get the flickering data light, but why cant I pull up a web page??????

Once associated, pull an IP address from the DHCP server. In SuSE, that's dhclient [ifname] or ifup [ifname] if memory serves.
