I know that the Netgear MA101 wireless card is not supposed to be compatible with Linux, but at atmelwlandriver there is a driver which will make it compatible with Redhat 8 and 9. But will it work with Fedora Core 1? I already tried but could not get it to work. If it does work is there any changes I need to make? I tried installing from the How-To's on the site.

EDIT: The place I get errors is when it says. make clean all install .

New problem I finally got it to where it looks like it is working then I go to use the iwconfig and ifconfig commands and I get an error saying it doesn't exist So I expect it isn't installed so I go download the RPM and try to install it and it says a newer version is already installed. Am I missing something?
P.S. I think this should be moved to Linux - Networking. Sorry

The MA101 does work with Fedora - at least on my machine and a friends. It needs a little preparation but the driver is already present. Are you using version A or B of the 101?
