Hi all,
I can't get ndiswrapper working with my AVM USB WLAN-Stick(USB-ID 057C:6201) in Ubuntu(Edgy Eft).
I've tried various combinations of different ndiswrapper / kernel-versions but none seems to work.
I now use current ndiswrapper 1.32 with a 2.6.17 kernel, compiled from the Ubuntu source package. I tried the following driver versions:
- current xp driver in german and english
- vista-beta-driver
- xp driver on vendor cd
The driver mentioned in ndiswrapper-wiki is not available anymore. Neither acpi=noirq nor noapic change anything. SMP is deactivated. I also tried it after deactivating nearly all kernel modules, which aren't absolutely necessary. No effect.

With new ndiswrapper 1.33(released today) it works fine!
